Our Story
For 30 years the TCT Group has curated the leading UK event in the drive to increase awareness and adoption of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology.
Our origins stretch back to 1992, when a newsletter grew to become Rapid News: The Magazine of the Rapid Prototyping and Tooling Industry. Just four years later we hosted our first live event, the Time-Compression Technologies ’96 Conference, and in 1997 we adopted the name Time-Compression Technologies – TCT for short!
Fast-forward to 2011 and our UK event found a home at the NEC, Birmingham which is where you will find us on 8-9 June 2022 for our 25th edition.
Today, TCT 3Sixty is the flagship event of the TCT Group, a leading authority in additive manufacturing, 3D printing, design and engineering technology across the globe.
TCT 3Sixty 2022 will build on the success of previous editions, delivering an event rich in real learning opportunities and intelligence for both new users and existing users alike.
The UK is an important market for 3D printing and additive manufacturing. The latest figures suggest it is the third fastest growing market in the world and has the fifth biggest installed base of machines.
The UK has a rich heritage in the technology with both high levels of adoption and world class research taking place in universities across the country driving technology breakthroughs.
Our content is unsurpassed in terms of its focus, integrity and originality.
TCT will always question the news, challenge the inevitable hype and endeavour to provide our community with trusted information, insights and intelligence that can help you make the right decisions about 3D printing and additive manufacturing for your business.
The strength and consistency of our content means TCT is the go-to resource for a global community of forward-thinking engineering and manufacturing professionals who are evaluating, adopting or optimising 3D printing and additive manufacturing for their organisations.
